Pennsylvania State House District 82
Paul Takac is a father to three wonderful kids, a husband of twenty-eight years, a local elected official, and a businessman who has spent the past two decades working with educators to help transform technology in the classroom. While his early childhood was faced with challenges, his father’s union-negotiated disability pension, a strong public education, and a sustainable living wage allowed him the opportunity to begin building a life for himself and his family. As a longtime member of the community, he cares deeply about the issues that face his friends and neighbors.
He wants to take his experience in business, education, and local government and put that to use in Harrisburg to make the legislature work for the people and communities in his district. His primary legislative priorities are fair funding for public education, addressing climate change and the environment by investing in a renewable energy economy and clean energy jobs, and ensuring that working families and small businesses have the support and resources they need to thrive.
