2020 Race Update: Angela lost 47.60% to 52.40%

Angela Schweller’s parents, John and Linda, raised her and her four siblings in Johnson County. She attended public schools from kindergarten through college — first in the Shawnee Mission School District, and then earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Communications at the University of Kansas School of Journalism. She moved to Denver, Colorado, for a brief stint before quickly realizing there really is “no place like home.” She moved right back to Kansas, which led her to meet and marry her best friend, J.T. They now have two amazing kids, Ada and Evan, and two pups, Mattie and Maisie. Angela’s parents instilled in her that hard work and dedication are the keys to success, and she strives to teach her children the same. That mindset led Angela to active involvement in her community and advocacy on behalf of her beloved Kansas neighborhoods.
